About Me

Now where shall I start? I am a housewife, mother of two an ardent believer in anything The Daily Mail prints and my motto is; 'There's nothing better than a crisply starched pair of net curtains.' If you would like to contact me I would be delighted if you filled in the thingy that Cedric has added to the bottom of the page.

Wednesday 6th October

And now another edition of our long-running serial - Mrs Winton's Diary. An evening out ends in disaster in today's episode 'The Situation is Hopeless'
Dear Diary
Wish my Spanish holiday in the village near the Balcon de Europe in Spain would improve. Cedric and I went out this evening to a beach-side restaurant 'Jazz at the end of the Rainbow' A Spanish man made us pay ten Euros to park the car. Inside the restaurant an elderly gentleman was doing a most unconvincing impression of Bob Hope - half-way through his act he strapped on a pair of false breasts and started singing 'Thanks For The Mammaries' I said 'Cedric we're leaving' a most unpleasant scene ensued - our Spanish waiter said we hadn't spent enough money on drinks and demanded 30 Euros in cash before we could leave. cedric paid up and we left. goodnight dear diary.
